U30 Membership Manager - Membership

Ned’s Club gives members access to some of the most spectacular spaces within the building. We promote, attract, identify and retain our membership pool by immersing ourselves into the local market 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate U30 Membership Manager to develop a strategy to introduce U30 Members and continue the long-term development and membership growth for the Club. Is accountable for proactively acquiring new members through outreach activities, networking, and attending events, alongside developing and maintaining existing member relationships with our U30 community.



• To build and manage the U30 Membership Committee and applications, through personal contacts in both the corporate and creative industries and guidance from the Head of Membership
• To schedule, organise and host U30 Committee Meeting’s for the club every quarter, and review all new member applications. In addition, gather feedback via detailed notes and club developments, levels of service, facilities and member perceptions
• To review the performance of the U30 Committee and refresh where committee members are underperforming
• To review and rate applications received, ensuring all approved applications are suitable for Ned’s Club U30 membership
• To meet as many applicants and potential members as possible, explaining your role, providing tours of the club and allowing them to contact you if they choose
• To promote the club directly by attending external networking events


• With support from the Head of Membership, devise and implement strategies to support the submission of applications to the Club, thus ensuring a strong membership ‘wait list’
• In collaboration with the Member Event Manager, contribute to the creation of member events onsite for the U30 membership community
• To actively participate in the creation and execution of events offsite that will help lead to the acquisition of new numbers
• In collaboration with the membership team, initiate, manage and run events that will lead to the application of prospective U30 members
• To support in the long-term development and membership growth of the Club
• To support with the membership on-boarding process, personally meeting all new U30 members and familiarising them with Club facilities and Club culture


• To assist on bigger events when required by the team, which may involve early mornings/evenings or weekends, as agreed with the Head of Membership
• Administrative duties to include pulling and analysing of reports, tracking all committee referrals, new member intake reports
• To prepare a weekly U30 update for the Head of Membership on all activities
• To be fully conversant with all Departmental and Company fire and emergency procedures



• Well-connected, target driven individual with a wide network within the city
• Previous experience working within a membership organisation
• Solid presence across social media
• Extensive customer service experience
• Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills
• Strong sales experience
• Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written
• IT literate – Excel, Word, PowerPoint


• Knowledge of Salesforce
• Events experience
• Hospitality experience
• Experience in public speaking / presenting

The Ned is a new opening from Soho House & Co and Sydell Group, located in the heart of The City. Originally a bank, the Grade- 1 listed building has been developed and restored to hold 252 hotel bedrooms, twelve restaurants and bars, a members club, a gym, Cowshed spa and two swimming pools, as well as six dedicated event spaces.
