Job description

Duties And Responsibilities:

- Assist and support the head chef in food preparation & oversee food preparation
- Prepare dishes from the menu as directed by the Head Chef
- Get involved in the training of all team
- Enforce safety, health and hygiene standards in the kitchen as directed by your
head chef
- Ensure that food goes to the customers in a timely manner


We need:

- The ability to produce top quality fresh food at volume.
- Good hygiene awareness and be able to manage consistency
- The desire and determination to climb the career ladder and help take the
business to an even higher level
- good organisation/communication skills
- previous experience at recognised establishments as Chef de Partie
- An open, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- To work effectively as part of our kitchen team
Prepare and cook high quality food according to Jonah's guidelines, quality and standards
- Supervising apprentices and kitchen hands and assisting with their ongoing development and training
- Receiving and accounting for supplies and deliveries
- Assisting in the development of positive in house relations between front of house personnel and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
