Job Description:


Reporting to the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing , the Director of Marketing Communications performs key functions of formulating effective public relations & marketing strategies, promoting the Hotel to targeted audience and building relationships with media and the community.

The Director of Marketing Communications will be supporting Sales, Catering Sales, Spa and Food & Beverage divisions with their promotions, update senior management with the latest development in corporate guidelines and supervising designs of Hotel collaterals.



Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brand compliance for all hotel collaterals

  • Ensure brand and hotel websites are up-to-date and accurate

  • Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders on communication plans

  • Identify and Collaborate for partnership tie-ups

  • Identify and negotiate for best possible positioning for media placements

  • Liaise with Corporate/ Owners on marketing related needs including timely submission of newsletter

  • Manage media relations, press releases, local / overseas media queries & stays, media responses and interviews

  • Oversee and execute all Marketing & Advertising Plans and collaterals for Rooms, F&B Venues and Spa

  • Oversee and Support on digital communications and digital marketing strategies

  • Oversee Supper Club activities and collaterals

  • Support Sales & Events teams in media related activities, partnership tie-ups, advertising and VIP stays



  • 8-10 years of relevant experience and 3 years in similar capacity in upscale luxury environment

  • Good organization and administrative skills

  • Professionally groomed with a refined disposition

  • Candidates with prior experience from Marriott International properties will have an advantage
