Within the Corporate Alliances organization, Account Management is responsible for enhancing the relationships between specific Alliance partners and Disney’s Business Units (BU’s) over the long-term.

This position identifies, investigates, analyzes, negotiates and forms deep relationships with third-party strategic alliances to create mutually beneficial business partnerships/arrangements

This position will focus on accounts that require material ongoing partnerships with multiple lines of business and thus requires a depth of knowledge and focus on a select number of complex individual accounts.

Drive value to Partners as well as Disney through identifying mutually beneficial opportunities, analyzing their business impact to both, and developing and pitching creative and innovative marketing ideas.

This position requires an individual who can successfully navigate a complex organization, who can create a deep mutually beneficial business strategy and act as a business consultant and representative of the Disney Company to Fortune 100 Executive Leadership.

This position will be responsible for the Tier 1 Accounts and success will be measured based on the renewal rate, client feedback and expertise in the designated industry.

This position will be responsible for select Technology & Industrial Enterprise Accounts.
Responsibilities
  • Supports development and execution of the annual and long-term account plan through creation of pitch materials, financial analysis, and presentation to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Manages execution and tracking of partner activation as appropriate across Disney BUs
  • Collaborates with internal partners across Disney BUs to identify, develop, and execute creative programs that deliver on partner’s business objectives.
  • Plans and attends all annual marketing planning meetings (both US and international) to facilitate the flow and prioritization of marketing opportunities with alliance partners
  • Acts as a key point of contact for assigned Alliances for compliance with the alliance agreement, account planning & development, and resolution of issues for both the Alliance partner and the stakeholder BUs.
  • Coordinates regular communications with alliance partners and ensures all deliverables are met according to the partnership agreements.
  • Monitors ongoing trends in marketing and the industry to keep ahead of partner expectations and competition for partner marketing resources.
  • Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of Partner’s business goals, Disney BUs’ business goals and current marketplace trends.
  • Ensures timely reporting of program results, quarterly account dashboards, and weekly Salesforce updates.
  • Coordinates cross-functional teams composed of representatives from different Disney BUs to negotiate and execute partnership activities.
  • Supports contract renewals, extensions and amendments by conducting appropriate due diligence, facilitating proposal development and analysis of deal terms for managed accounts, and lead negotiations as determined by the senior manager/director.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in brand management, marketing/promotions strategy, and/or marketing consulting
  • Proven experience in relationship management and client-facing interaction
  • Ability to adapt communication for varied audiences – engineers, technologists, creatives, R&D, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cast members and Partners at all levels
  • Keen interest in data; ability to tell a story and extract meaningful and actionable insights
  • Experience in technology or facilities management preferred
  • Experience with contract management is a must
  • Experience in or a strong passion for STEM related programs
  • Natural curiosity; takes the initiative to figure out the “whys” and the “whats” when presented with information
  • Ability to interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services
  • Ability to lead projects from inception to completion, including timelines, milestones, and KPIs
  • Ability to manage objectives and production schedules for the creation of B2B videos
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong abilities in prioritization and multi-tasking is a must
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Keynote
