Disney China Research is looking for a creative, hardworking, and detail-oriented intern to support the research in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and design and construction management. Ideal candidates should possess the ability to collaborate with a team environment, have a basic understanding of BIM and project management, and be able to design and execute a specific research topic under the guidance of a research manager. This is a full time position that will report directly to BIM research lead.
Assisting in the execution research projects, including literature reviews, surveys, interviews, field observations, computer modeling, data integration and analysis
Producing written, tabular and visual materials for research reports and presentations
Testing and evaluating new technologies and recommend and train others on the team
Organize and coordinate the activities of the intern team
Handling and protecting confidential and sensitive data with integrity
Bachelor or master degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
Thorough understanding of Virtual Design and Construction and Building Information Modeling processes and technologies.
Understanding of building engineering and knowledge of construction, procurement, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies. Work experience on architectural, engineering or construction project preferred.
Proficiency in modeling, simulation, and analysis software such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Tekla, ArchiCAD, and Synchro.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment.
