Benefits: Salary: $15 per hour based on 40 hours a week.
Uniform will be provided for Front Desk candidates, Housekeeping will need to bring their own. Please refer to the formal dress code that is provided with this offer. Complimentary meals are provided. Candidates will accrue PTO (Paid Time Off). After 60 days you will be able to accrue 16 PTO hours to expire December 31st, sick time is accrued 1 hour per 37 hours worked this means up to seven days per year and vacation time is a maximum of 80 hours per year. Transportation by the hotel will not be provided for airport pick up, It is recommend that the candidate can land at DCA which is closer to the hotel and city, but Dulles has all international flights and very good transportation as well. 7 days housing on site is offered by the host company depending on occupancy. Please reach out to your contacts or HR BEFORE booking your flight so they may make sure there is a room available. If you fail to reach out to the hotel before booking your flight, it is the candidate's responsibility to find their own temporary housing in their first week. After the 7 days it is the candidate's responsibilities to find permanent housing for the rest of the program.
The cost of living in Arlington, VA is cheaper, but the hotel is across the GWU campus and there is a lot housing available at affordable costs. Websites we recommend are Apartment.com, Rent.com, hotpads.com Public transportation is very good in DC with metro, bus and taxis available, so there is no need to buy a car. If you are to buy a car, you will need an international Driver's ID and are recommended to bring $2,000-$3,000 more for the car deposit.
