Establish a regular call pattern for meeting with principles of target markets.
Maintain regular contact with the Starwood Sales Organization and where appropriate submit sales leads within the Starwood network.
Participation in developing/reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various marketing segments, based on market feedback and conditions.
Participate in wedding fair / wedding shows and promotional events within the hotel, the industry and customer organizations as necessary.
Remind the Meeting Planner to participate the MPSI survey and share the client’s feedback to the related departments and DOC
Liaise closely with other departments within the hotel to ensure efficient and regular communication of sales activities.
Actively source new account and develop existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments.
Establish an understanding for Starwood policy and procedures. Develop and maintain a good working with all SSO’s and actively sources Team Hot leads for other Starwood properties.
Effectively measure and report on a timely basis, catering results with updated strategies and competitor information to the Director of Catering.
Maintain regular contact with key contacts in the appropriate market segments including site inspections and sales calls.
Assist with the development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing.
Conduct the Pre-Con and Post-Con meeting for the VIP group/events with related operation departments
Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.
