Within Tripadvisor, the B2B Hotels team provides products to hoteliers that help increase bookings, improve their hotel’s reputation, and manage day-to-day operations. We also generate some of the biggest revenue streams in the company. 

This Senior Product Manager position within the B2B Hotels product team will lead products that support hoteliers to drive more bookings and improve their reputation and brand on Tripadvisor and beyond. In this role, you will need to focus on both sides of the platform, finding solutions that are beneficial to the consumers and hotel owners alike. You will work towards understanding deeply the needs of different types of hotel owners across the globe and work cross-functionally to best solve those needs.

This position is full-time and remote.

  Responsibilities

  • Develop requirements and specifications that are informed by the product strategy, competitive positioning, customer feedback, technical feasibility, and your unique insight.
  • Live in the data: analyze, research, and gather support for requirements and product decisions. Drive clarity across the organization, and ensure project visibility to stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, owning the product from conception through launch to maturity and support.
  • Embrace hypothesis testing methodology: work with Marketing, Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to define, build and launch tests, internalize the learnings, and iterate to find and roll out wins.
  • Hold a high bar for quality: ensure that every release is useful, reliable, and properly tested.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Sales teams to ensure continuous two-way communication, informing, training, and getting feedback from clients.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience. B2B/ B2C SaaS experience or experience with two-sided platforms preferred. 
  • Deep customer empathy and the ability to work cross-functionally to meet the needs of the customer. 
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic, and decision-making skills. Able to ask the right questions, interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.
  • Good business judgment when making decisions and understanding the relevance/  impact of each decision on the strategic direction of the team and the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions. Sense of humor preferred.
  • Passion for travel preferred.
