About the job

The Assistant Human Resources Manager will provide a proactive and supportive Human Resources service to all Associates, upholding TRYP by Wyndham Dubai, peoples goal, financial profitability and all Human Resources KPI’s of recruitment, training, retention and administration. Ensuring effective flow of documentation relating to associates.

MANAGEMENT OF TEAM

Manage direct reports (HR Coordinator and HR Executive) to ensure that they are productive
Write development plans for members of the team in conjunction with the CDHR
Performance Manage and coach all team to ensure optimum performance on a daily basis when required
Supervise the daily HR operation in conjunction with the CDHR


EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Ensure that the agreed upon disciplinary process is maintained at all times and fair disciplinary processes are followed by all HOD’s.
Maintain and enhance the open door policy to all associates providing advice and guidance when needed in regards to their issues or concerns and/or grievances.
To provide a source of information to Department Heads regarding disciplinary, grievance and associate counselling issues.
Ensure all probation reviews are submitted well in time and that the reviews are done with productive feedback


PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Ensure that all departing associates have the opportunity to have an online/ face to face exit interview
Manage the disciplinary process in consultation with the DHR for any first/final written warnings and below. Note take in any other meetings when required.
In conjunction with the Cluster Training Manager and CDHR produce a cross training manual for HR


PAYROLL/FINANCE

Ensure that the payroll is submitted to finance on the agreed date
PH and Lieu day tracking is accurate and up to date and that this is done through OASYS.
Work in excel to ensure that all the costs are accurately budgeted for Finance for forecasts.
Work with the CDHR in preparing the annual HR Budget Administration


RECRUTIMENT PROCESS

Propose new arrival initiatives that can elevate the joining experience at Wyndham
Ensure the associate request forms are completed in their entirety to ensure the candidates that are being sourced are to the business need
Have meetings with the HOD’s to gain feedback on the recruitment process
Work closely with Cluster Assistant Public Relations Manager to ensure that all visas are processed in a timely manner
Work closely with the Housing Team to ensure that all new hires have clean and ready rooms on arrival
