Job Description
Join our team as an Assistant Bar Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the management of our bar operations. You will assist in overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring excellent service, maintaining stock levels, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the bar area. Your responsibilities include supervising and training bar staff, managing inventory, and contributing to menu development. Strong leadership skills, extensive beverage knowledge, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service are essential for this role. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Prior experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting is preferred.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an assistant manager or supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting.
- Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and recipes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (where applicable) is advantageous.
