Job Description

The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for managing and overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. The ideal candidate is a creative and skilled culinary professional with a strong background in international cuisine, menu development, and kitchen management. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire the culinary team and deliver a memorable dining experience to our guests.

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, including Sous Chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff.
  • Develop and create innovative menus that align with the resort's concept and guest preferences.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food cost control, and ordering.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings.



Qualifications

  • A seasoned, hands-on sous chef seeking his first role as Chef de Cuisine, with a strong background in all-day dining focused on international and Arabic cuisine with expertise in a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including food safety, hygiene, and inventory management.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
