Job Summary

A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for leading, training and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons in the hotel''s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.


What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you would be responsible for leading, training and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons in the hotel''s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Inspect rooms, complete reports, verify status reports; report clean suites to hotel front desk and / or load into automated property management systems.
  • Open housekeeping: check rooms inventory, assign rooms to room/suite attendants
  • Monitor payroll reports and work schedules
  • Monitor lost and found program.
  • Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies
  • Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
  • Promote team member loyalty and empowerment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations the repair and maintenance program as related to guestrooms and public areas.
  • Quarterly linen inventory.
