This exciting opportunity based in either Sydney or Melbourne will partner with the business to support the continuous expansion and enrichment of Data Assets and Capabilities. You will be a lead in the digital space, ideally completing major projects for entertainment or media clients. An extensive background in data analysis and producing insights is required, as well as a clear vision around creation of valuable dashboard data and insights to support business and customer lifecycle goals.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Digital Performance Analyst you will be responsible for:
Insights, Reporting and Amplification
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) which result in measuring effectiveness of Disney content, efficiency and conversion for all Disney digital properties and channels (web, app, social, email)
  • Work with other analysts across the business with the intent of delivering end-to-end (customer lifecycle) metrics across the breadth of Disney business and brands, and closely collaborate with consumer insights in delivering timely, relevant, valuable and actionable insights
  • Work with the local team, Disney colleagues worldwide, and measurement tool partners such as Omniture & PowerBI to produce tailored dashboard and strategic insights for stakeholders
  • Present findings to the individual business units with the intention to drive the business to excellence.
  • Manage ongoing social listening and social analytics in conjunction with the broader digital performance, both on an ongoing and campaign basis.
  • Perform real-time optimization analysis and provide insights and recommendations to content planning team
  • Provide organic reach update to Content Planners on an ongoing basis
  • Create and review digital benchmarks on a quarterly basis, by content type and platform

Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders, to gain understanding of their business, provide business area metrics/benchmarks and forecast ongoing measures of success
  • Educate the business on tracking the effectiveness of our content, launches and campaigns, as well as more granular insights on user engagement and commercial outcomes
  • Work closely with respective team members to optimize and coordinate content performance and amplification
  • Work closely with global teams to align our data and reporting efforts

Methodology
  • Define an audience focused approach, to identify ‘best in class’ user experiences and interactions across distinct segments
  • Continually review process and outputs to define ongoing improvements and proactively suggest change in workflow to improve efficiency
  • Research and analyse user content consumption across multiple platforms and devices
  • Provide training sessions to educate the business internally on all aspects of digital measurements
Basic QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
  • 5+ years of progressively related experience in online and social media analytics
  • Advanced MSExcel/MSAccess/MSPowerpoint practical and reporting skills
  • Strong data visualisation skills with the ability to convey complex data clearly and succinctly
  • Experienced in web & reporting software, such as Omniture and PowerBI
  • Standard social media performance tools, such as Facebook and Twitter Insights
  • Understanding of industry best practices for digital content measurement and optimisation
  • Recognised as an expert on customer business process and workflow
  • Familiar with supporting A/B and multi-variant testing
  • Detailed understanding of multi-channel metrics
  • Highly self-directed, being able to both manage and prioritize the multiple concurrent and competing challenges, issues, ambiguities, and contradictions that necessarily occur during the creation of digital solutions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to identify digital trends and put measure in place to capture business insight
  • Ability to prioritise and allocate work in order to meet delivery deadlines
  • Proven management of successful stakeholder relationships, including scoping of projects and deliverables
  • Ability to think about both practical and visionary uses of available data
  • Strong team player, able to work in a busy and demanding environment
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
