Job description

The International Labor Standards Group administers The Walt Disney Company’s International Labor Standards (ILS) program and its underlying Code of Conduct (Code) to ensure that workers producing Disney branded products are treated in a fair and ethical manner in accordance with the Code. The regional divisions manage the communication of the Code and ensure that internal and external groups implement ILS program requirements.
The Administrative Assistant/Coordinator will be part of the ILS APAC Team, and will contribute to the effectiveness of the ILS program by carrying out administrative tasks related to the ILS administration & processes, and by supporting the communication, training and monitoring activities of the Team Responsibilities
  • Assist to obtain manufacturing information from Business Units and follow-up of outstanding ILS documentation
  • Working on the ILS system & ensuring documentation support as required
  • Assist to check that Licensee and Vendor information contained in the ILS database is accurate and updated
  • Ensure that correspondence is sent, tracked and returned as necessary
  • Maintain efficient online and physical filing systems
  • Provide secretarial and clerical support as and when the need arises. This includes logistic arrangements, coordinate local and international communications, arranging meetings.
  • Support the development and management of plans and tools/reports to effectively administer and monitor the implementation of the ILS program, requirements and activities in the assigned markets
  • Generate monthly monitoring reports to timely detect areas of improvement in the implementation and management of ILS policies, requirements and activities
  • Support training needs of key stakeholders to roll out knowledge and proper implementation of the ILS Program
  • Maintain the contact database update (BU)
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience; preferably with an MNC
  • Fluency in English (writing, speaking)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to support cross functional teams
  • Ability to grasp quickly & also understand/ support the core purpose of working in the ILS team
  • Ability to support the development of plans and tools to ensure the proper implementation of the ILS program
  • Ability to create accurate reports
  • Logical thinking
