Job description

Disney is seeking a creative & out of the box thinker who can contribute to taking our toys & publishing business to the next level. You will be part of the team working with some of the best toy brands to jointly work on innovative market appropriate products, exploring new channels & delivering our much loved stories to kids through various delivery platforms that will rekindle the love of reading in young minds. Be part of the story Responsibilities As our Champion and Guardian of Disney Brands, you need to:
  • Pursue new business initiatives scalable on a regional basis to ensure profitable running of the Toys & Publishing category to achieve or exceed financial targets
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking capable of developing and implementing plans in place to fill in any product, franchises and channel gaps
  • Excellent communication to establish & maintain relationships with licensees, retail accounts , other Disney businesses & in market teams
  • Partner with local Disney teams to integrate global/regional toys & publishing licensee’s products into territory retail & marketing plans
  • Monitor category forecast on quarterly basis & take corrective action with licensees
Basic Qualifications
  • Organization savvy - to collaborate with all levels internally and externally
  • Highly independent and self-directed, as well as a good team player
  • Strong analytical mind with understanding of business & financial concepts
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Licensing/Media/Retail/Toy/Advertising/FMCG industry. Experience in Toy industry would be an advantage
