About the Role:
This role is responsible for managing a specific set of Procurement and Sourcing activities in a region. This role will be required to have experience in a number of the following categories: IT, Facilities Services (Cleaning, Repair & Maintenance, Security, etc.), Food & Beverage, Utilities, Construction Consultants & Contractors, Outsourcing practices, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), Professional Services (HR, Legal, Marketing). This role should possess a deep understanding of the strategic sourcing process and a proven ability to influence a diverse set of stakeholders. Ideally this role should have category management competence. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing long term sourcing strategies, leading to deeper, more economic relationships with our suppliers. This role will be expected to achieve efficiencies in cost, process and ways of working.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct spend analysis and opportunity assessments reports
- Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve quality and service levels by identifying opportunity areas such as product standardisation and supplier consolidation
- Effectively work with functional and business groups as a trusted advisor to determine desired product/service specifications and projected demand when making recommended action plans
- Ensure that WeWork has good understanding of the supply market and work with the business to provide input for creating innovative win-win customer and supplier strategies
- Identify, pre-qualify, and negotiate commercial terms/MSA’s with Contractors/Consultant services; assessing experience and fit-for WeWork brand, culture and business goals
- Manage competitive sourcing events, analyse responses and support business in supplier selection
- Incorporate TCO/TCI modeling into sourcing events and decisions
- Negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, rate books and execute contracts with suppliers
- Coordinate the review of proposed contracts with respect to financial terms; incorporate Terms; intellectual property rights; service terms; WeWork liability; and conformance to WeWork policies and applicable legal guidelines. Seek expert opinions and internal consult as necessary.
- Support cross-functional stakeholders with supplier implementation and facilitate change management with colleagues and key contacts throughout the organisation
- Deliver information about completed agreements to WeWork partners; publicise agreements in order to achieve greater participation and savings
- Employ a data driven approach to develop long term plans including forecasted costs, savings targets and planned projects
- In line with SRM program, evaluate suppliers to continually enhance working practices, more open collaboration and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and achieve KPI/SLA targets + metrics to formalize assessment and reporting of Contractor, Consultant, Supplier performance as well as establish goals and metrics to track the success of implemented process solutions and continually evaluate and adjust as necessary
- Implement automated procurement and invoicing solutions with Strategic Suppliers
- Apply best practices and policies to ensure proper spending and compliance by all WeWork employees
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or business related field
- 5+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience or procurement consulting experience
- Senior Manager to take on a larger volume of categories
- Senior Manager to take on more complex categories of procurement (IE Construction Services)
- Seasoned procurement professional, knowledgeable in best practices and the strategic sourcing process
- Proven track record in delivery of complex, cross-functional procurement initiatives on-time and achieving quantifiable savings
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and with suppliers to solve problems when facing evolving demands
- Strong project management skills and results oriented
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience
- Experience analysing spend data and developing a long term sourcing strategy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand, organize, communicate and present complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences
- Highly adaptable and efficient in a constantly evolving environment
- High energy, passionate, strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering value
