Location description:
Stay in the center of it all at Marriott's Ocean Pointe, a vacation ownership resort located in Palm Beach Shores. Ideally situated oceanfront on Singer Island, we offer travelers an enviable vantage point from which to explore the area; championship golf, upscale shopping and endless recreational opportunities are all within reach. Our idyllic resort provides an array of accommodation options, including one-, two- and three-bedroom villa rentals, each impeccably outfitted to provide a comfortable, homelike experience.

Position details:
•Front Desk rotational: Front Desk/ Guest Services Training
•PBX (AYS) / Reservation Department Training
•Front Desk Supervisor
•Development Training
•Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
•Learn to receive and respond to guest requests, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
•Train with leaders across multiple Rooms departments to perform tasks as needed
•Follow all cash handling procedures per Hotel policy
•Learn to manage guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
•Train to achieve departmental targets
•Ensure cleanliness of work areas
•During your training, ensure to be in compliance with all Hotel health and safety policies
•Perform all other reasonable duties as needed
  • Number of positions: 7
  • $13.50 per hour. Overtime available, 1.5 X The Normal Rate, Overtime is not guaranteed.

About you

• Offer to non- U.S. citizens only
• Hospitality degree degree
• 6-12 months of practical work experience outside the US are required
• If graduation happened more than 12 months ago from today, 12 months of practical work experience outside the US are required
•If NO degree in Hospitality, 5 years of work experience in this field (outside the U.S.)
• Excellent English
• Highly motivated
• Positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
• A polished and professional appearance and compliance with Hotel grooming standards
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to work calmly while meeting deadlines
  • Language required: English.
