To understand and follow all manufacturer and Dubai Municipality guidelines, Jumeirah and Wild Wadi Standard Operating Procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure the Guest receives the highest standards of quality and service at all times.
To prepare food and beverages to the set menus, cooking guidelines and/or special Guest requests in order to provide preparation satisfaction.
To exude a friendly, helpful and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our Guests and fellow Colleagues in order to support the Jumeirah Vision, Guiding Principles, Hallmarks and Wild Wadi Waterpark Mission Statement.
To completely satisfy each Guest by greeting and helping them while maintaining a professional appearance at all times and ensuring fast speed of service, preparation of the correct food and beverage order and maintain overall cleanliness of the park which will contribute to the success of the organization shown in the Customer Satisfaction Index results.
To be fully aware and knowledgeable of all products sold in the F&B Outlets in order to promote, suggest and up-sell these products to the Guest which will in turn increase revenue, per cap and Guest satisfaction.
To oversee the Guest seating and queue area of the outlet in order to ensure speed of service, cleanliness, and assistance with any Guest needs.
To provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the organization.
To clean all defined areas of the kitchen counters, walls, floors, storage rooms, and other areas of the kitchen on a daily basis or as necessary in order to be in accordance with the set food safety and hygiene standards.
To report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.
To maintain a clean environment by picking up garbage inside the park and back of the house, and throwing it in the proper garbage bins in order to provide sanitary surroundings for our Guests and Colleagues.
Using any machinery, equipment or dangerous substance is used in accordance with training and instruction received; Co-operating with Management and following policies and procedure to promote a healthy and safe workplace.
Take reasonable care of their own health & safety and those individuals around them.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 1-year experience as Commis or similar role in a five-star hotel or standalone restaurant
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary
- Good command of English language (spoken and written)
