PMS & RMS Interface Integration Specialist (m/f/d)

About the job

As part of the global operational team, you will be responsible for integrating Property Management System interfaces and Revenue Management System interfaces with our Central Reservation System SynXis CR and/or our CRM solution.

In addition you will support and consult our member hotels around the world in all revenue and distribution related tasks.

The position requires a close working relationship and collaboration with all WorldHotels departments and member hotels in all regions.

The main areas of your activities are:
- Integration & maintenance of various PMS and RMS interfaces with our CRS SynXis CR, mainly Opera and IDeaS
- Integration & maintenance of various PMS with our CRM and loyalty program
1st level Support and consultancy for our hotels worldwide in all technical inquiries concerning revenue and distribution systems like
SynXis CR, our Central Reservation System, e.g. how to load a rate, specific stay restrictions or policies
- GDS, e.g. ensure that corporate rates are bookable for Travel Agents in the Global Distribution Systems, hotel content is displayed correctly
- IBE, e.g. setting up hotels Internet Booking Engines in terms of hotels corporate identity, customized features and functionalities
- OTA, e.g. connecting hotels to Online Travel Agencies like booking.com, Expedia or HRS
- MSE, e.g. connecting hotels to Meta Search Engines like Trivago, TripAdvisor or Google
- Voice, e.g. ensuring that our call center agents do see the correct hotel content, rates and availability
- Central Rate Loading, e.g. Proactively load rates for our hotels as per new corporate agreements
- Involvement in local and global projects

About you

- Bachelor in tourism/hotel management or similar education
- Work experience in the hotel or tourism industry of at least 1 year
- Knowledge in revenue and distribution management (acquired in Reservations, Front Office, Revenue Management or tourism)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work with a hands-on mentality
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
- Knowledge of SynXis CR is not a must but a plus
  • Language required: English.
