My duties are endless, the sky is a limit, supervising and performing duties as below:- *I'm responsible for Scheduling and Staffing, Team Approach, Training, Quality Control & Compliance. *Read the log register, attend the daily briefing, take and give proper handover from colleagues and management. *Checking of RC, Direct billing, Rate check, High balance, PM extension & rate check of PM's *Allot inspected rooms for guest arrivals keeping in mind their preferences e.g. Smoking, non smoking, city view etc.. *Communicate with housekeeping, room service, kitchen and engineering if necessary to insure everything is well maintained in the rooms before the guest arrival. * Follow-up with trace reports, welcome letter & welcome amenities make sure that proper VIP amenities are placed in the rooms according to hotel standard. *Up-sell - upgrade and room-move to guest satisfaction. *Greeting guest with a smile addressing them by their name upon check-in, check-out and at all time we meet them, keeping eye contact, giving them proper information about their package, hotel outlets timing etc.. *Insuring smooth transaction of payment and enrolling them in for membership. *Make sure that all VIP are escorted to their rooms. *Assure prompt & positive action on all kind of complaints by Noting & Jotting down all the guest problems in the guest response form. *Solving problems that colleagues face during check-in & check-out. *Maintain a work environment of cleanliness & organization. *In the night shift help the night auditor with all the related correspondence to run the night audit.
