Joined “The Vista Hotels” Bagalkot a four star status corporate hotel & the first entrepreneur group of Hotel having 45 keys, a Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Lounge bar and Conference/Banquet halls as Hotel Manager for the Unit As it was the first hotel from The Vista Hotels entrepreneur, when I joined it was in a project state, with my advise & support both from the Management & corporate, I have set this hotel in the initial stage of the project to make the working operations smooth. As a Hotel Manager I was overall in-charge of entire workflow of Unit ranging from the project state in to operate state.Setting up the project as per the Unit, Recruitment to SOP’s, Duty allocation for the all the department as per out standard operation system with guding & monitering.With our efforts we are completed the project & turned in to sucessfull Hotel in the city & made the hotel as talk of the town. As we are new enterprenuer for The Vista Hotels, we sucessfully started & running smooth operation in the market, we started to make a chain of hotels through our network & brand. Also not only we Manage the hotel we also asscociated with consultant of project hotels & pubs. Through our network The Vista Hotel have taken franchise Resort The Park Vista Hotel, Mudhol. In the year July 2017 just hardly 60kms away from this The Vista Hotels Bagalkot, Where I was taken another challenging responsibility to run the Project in to the running sucessfully Resort – Th”e Park Vista Hotels. With my sincere efforts and support from the Management of The Vista Hotels, we were able to work in a group. The Management of “The Vista Hotels”, have taken vast steps to make a corporate group to maintain the standards & also to maintain the day to day operations as we are growing towards the competitive market . On seeing my ability to take more responsibility and independently managing the Project Hotels from the Project state to the Operation state, Based on this performance the “The Vista Hotels” Management has elevated my designation to Manager Operations to the upcoming project hotels. Duties & Responsibilities Setting up the project for the hotel operations, to set up as per the operation work flow to run the smooth operations Setting up the SOP’s of the department. Responsible for the 1st phase of the recruitment & short listing the potential candidates. Ensuring that the staff’s are familiar the hotel products & services. Ensuring that the Staff’s are aware of the promotions, policies & other important information’s. Implementation of guest recognisation programmes & maintaining a relevant guest history database. Maintaining the positive guest & staff interaction with good working relationship. Personally & frequently visiting the guest are free and comfortable environment during the stay. Spending time in the Front Office during the peak hours to ensure that areas are managed well by the respective team & delivers the brand promise. Ensuring that the guest history records are maintained well & repeated guests are pre- registered. Ensuring that the Hotel operates in the lowest cost structure.

Conducting regular communication meetings, briefings effectively. Ensuring that the Front Office Staff delivers the brand promise & provide exceptional guest service at all times. Ensuring that the Front Office Staff also provides excellent services to the internal customers as appropriate. Assisting in the VIP Check In & long staying guests, ensuring that they are met with Duty Manager. Duties & Responsibilities Preparing & Maintain the SOP’s for the department. Initiate training among the team & also virtual job training for the staffs. Supervising the departmental infrastructure in co-ordination with the project team. Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby & pubic areas, lights & as well as Front Office Staff in proper & orderly appearance & behavior. Greets the VIP Guests of the hotel, directed by the FOM, Paying attention to the special services for VIP’s Guests. Organizing guest arrivals & departure & ensuring the smooth running daily operations in reception during shift. Responding wide range of guest request & promoting hotel facilities. Monitoring invoice & cash operations on a daily basis. Maximizing revenue & occupancy of the hotel & promoting Club Carlson Loyalty membership. Supervising reception & coordinating with other departments for smooth running of operation such as Maintenance, Housekeeping, F&B department. Responding guest complaints regarding guest stay/guest queries & keeping updated records for monitoring less than 15 min guarantee service tool. Managing reservations through emails during the shift. Carrying out the Night Audit & ensuring night audit runs smoothly & balances giving instruction to night receptionist during high occupancy periods. Regarding walk-in guests & release room blocked because of no-shows. Responsible in scheduling the monthly duty roster for the department. Responsible for heading the department in absence of Front Office Manager. Handling the profit & loss meeting individually by showing profit in the departmental costing.

Joined “The Hans Hotel” Hubli a four star status corporate hotel having 57 keys, a Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Lounge bar and Conference/Banquet halls as Front Office Assistance in Front Office Department. With mine sincere efforts and support of Sales & Marketing Team we were able encash corporate room booking, tour & convention groups which resulted in increase in Occupancy % from 50 % to 75 %. Also on mine advise, management have upgraded the rooms with better modern interior and adding more amenities in the room which resulted in increase in Arr, Arrp and rev per income. On seeing mine performance I was promoted as Front Office Supervisor on Sep 2008. As Front Office Supervisor I was overall in-charge of entire workflow of Front Office Department ranging from Duty allocation of FOA’s, Bell Desk and Drivers to all the working operations, systems, guest relations and also guiding and monitoring Sales & Marking team. On seeing mine ability to take more responsibility and independently managing the Front Office Workings Process, the hotel management has elevated my designation to Duty Manager on Sep 2009.With mine sincere efforts and support of All The Department Team we were able to work in a group and also on mine advise, management have upgraded the rooms, with better modern interior and adding more amenities, Increasing the Room tariff, Adding MAP & AP plans, Increasing Deluxe category More and Base Category, which resulted in increase in Arr from Rs.1200 to Rs. 2500, and in prorate basis there were increase in Arrp, rev per income and Rev Per too. On seeing mine ability to take more responsibility and independently managing the Front Office department workings Process, Based on this performance the hotel management has elevated my designation to Front Office Manager on June 2011 Scope of Work Ensures to follow proper systems and procedure laid down by the management Increase the brand image of the Hotel. Work closely with the sales & marketing department in planning room requirements & assignment, price allocation and rooming list etc for all the tour & convention groups as well as important guests. To build an effect team of employees & ensure smooth & efficient operation of the department maintaining the highest possible service standards. Selling, register guest and assign guest room as per their requirements. Maintaining the proper reservation status. Provide the information of the hotel, the surrounding the community and any attraction or events of interest to the guests. Maintain the accurate room status information and room key inventories Maintain guest account, monitoring credit limits and follow up the pending bills and payments. Produce guest account statements and complete proper financial settlements. Reporting to Manager Operation about the Suggestions/drawbacks/complaints /area where need improvements.
