I have been in the hotel and tourism indutry for more less 3 to 4 years, specifically handling room reservation. I am very passionate and ambitious especially in selling and marketing area. Communicate company values and/or culture, maintain the standard of the reservation. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Updating and verifying the availability of room type and rate when necessary Monitoring all online bookings landed on the system and are all well updated Creating rate code on travel agent or corporate segment and ensure all are well updated. Adjusting the daily rate accordingly depending on the strategy, on daily basis. Performing arrival check and reservation enter on daily basis, ensuring all are entered as per the standard. Complaint and query handling , via email or calls ensuring are all well attended. Performing morning daily occupancy report. Performing daily pick report/ actual and forecast market segment wise. Giving a proper responds on query about property facilities/services and room accommodations. Performing daily task assignment to the team as well as e-mails delegation. Follow and performing the proper sales techniques to maximize revenue. Respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests. Standard of billing instruction are to be maintained and well communicated. Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns or escalate/refer to appropriate individual. Balancing room inventory when necessary in the case of overbooking. Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

Ensure that quality of reservation is maintained in terms of guest details, outlet bookings etc - Ensure that the minimum response time is maintained for all reservation requests. Instant update on detailed information in PMS and reservation system to maintain Guest Satisfaction - Maintain up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all times. - Sell our products and services to meet guests needs in line with our concepts with a focus on hotel profit - Promote and maintain good public relations and use every opportunity to maximize revenue by upselling, promoting hotel products and facilities etc. - Ensure that all guarantee letters and rooming lists from Companies or Travel Agents without credit facilities are received and approved by the Reservations Manager prior to the guest’s arrival.. - Ensure correct profiles are attached for guests, Tour Operators, DMC’s and Corporates to ensure quality of reservations data. - Ensure that the correct market and source codes are linked to the rate code used. - Organize visa requests for hotel guests as and when it is requested. - Access guest history records to best service guests; maintain accurate information in guest history files - Promote and sell holiday and other packages to callers requesting reservations on designated dates - Explain guarantee and cancellation policies to callers; assign confirmation/ cancellation numbers and relay such to caller - Set up proper billing accounts (i.e., share-withs, room/tax/incidentals, direct/special billing)/LPOs and process advance deposits according to Accounting policies and with proper authorizations
