My current role is with Saakalya Pte Ltd in Singapore, a boutique lifestyle brand that I founded in 2014 as the second dream in my life. Saakalya offers products and services to live a happier and more meaningful way of life. We are based in Singapore, focussing on the local market for our services, and on the global market for our e-commerce products. As the founder and owner I am creating brand awareness, building the image and increasing the demand by planning various marketing activities and PR. I am handling our operations like retreats, courses, workshops and talks and am strongly involved in strategic and daily sales, finance, IT and HR issues. I am currently handling a team of five freelancers.
I gathered strong experience in hospitality from 2011 - 2014 and fulfilled my first dream at Pan Pacific Singapore as the Director of Marketing Communications, leading and executing an integrated marketing and communication campaign to close and re-open this 790-room and six-outlet hotel after an S$80 million transformation. Additionally, me and my team of five associates, upgraded the hotel’s loyalty program for diners, re-branded two outlets and supported the sales team to drive business to our new product.
I gained deep knowledge of pro-active sales, sales support and account management in my previous international roles. With my expertise of planning, developing and executing marketing strategies, managing international events, promotions and press activities, I feel that my track record will fit well in your firm.
