HOSPITALY - a passion that started long ago, with my first steps outside my own country, back in the 90s. Travelling & love for foreign languages made me choose my future career and I did not trade it for any other sector of business in 15 years ! This wonderful business, hospitality, opened doors to me - to new locations, new people, new ideas. It is a world that makes you dream and help other people follow theirs (vacations, careers, honeymons, events of a lifetime, successful business etc).
Have looked after many hotels, from 3* to luxury 5*, each having a story of it's own. 15 years in sales helped me improve my skills, my communication to others, reach the goals and look after valuable clients. The international exposure enlarged the horizon and proved to be the challenge I was looking for.
I had contracts of millions of euros in my hands, managed a portofolio of 43 hotels, looked after Nicholas Cage, Sharon Stone, Andy Garcia, came up with brand new ideas that make money even as this is read, been among 9 Hilton finalists for 'Best Deal', negotiated business and worked closely with senior employees of IBM, HP, pharma etc. - only few of the joys of my work.
What is the value that I bring ? Making the client top priority and helping the company and the team reach a high position on the market and provide very good service. I love learning something new each day and I enjoy being part of a strong team.

I am proud to be part of a great team who brought in records like best Revenue in SEP-OCT 2016, better Tripadvisor ranking (from #426 to #312 in record time), higher 2017 LNR negotiated rates, M&E budget reached. As Assist. DOS my tasks include monthly reports, participate at management internal meetings or with VIP clients, coordinate M&E Executive, indirectly coordinate F&B and Reception. London local private family owned chain : Bentley 5*, Washington 5*, Courthouse Soho 5*, new opening Courthouse Shoreditch 5*. The 5* luxury Courthouse Soho hotel is ideally located in bustling Central London. Hotel is situated where stylish Mayfair, fashionable Soho and the West End meet and is within walking distance of London's finest shopping streets (Oxford Street, Regent Street, Carnaby Street), tourist attractions and theatre land (famous historical Palladium theatre is next door). Looking into the opening of new Courthouse Shoreditch 5* - searching for local area accounts, competition checks, rates comparison, contracts and offers. Cluster proactive role on all 4 properties.
Role – to increase revenue for the 10 newly refurbished meeting rooms. Brought my first major new client with regular events in my first 2 months. Selling the 10 meeting rooms of the hotel, capacity between 6-300 pax. Working closely with the hotel based Events Manager and the Cluster events team. Looking after CONV, SMERF, CMTG. Taking care of regular clients, bringing in new clients, keeping contact with schools, event agencies, caterers. Organising Fam Trips and having hotel presentations outside London. Reached & exceeded my Q2 targets (April-June).
A landmark 5* hotel in Bucharest, of 100 years old (in 2014). Classical hotel in the very city center, 272 rooms. I am part of the BD Department – SALES. I take care of the major accounts, looking to improve the revenue, increase the room-nights, get more events in-house confirmed, take care of client’s needs (catering, other hotel services). Promote other Hilton brand hotels (ex. DoubleTree by Hilton in Oradea and Hampton by Hilton in Cluj). Started a new program called “Referral programme”, based on my original idea to increase the number of room-nights for some top companies (result + 35 RN). The only 100 % private Romanian brand having a chain of 9 hotels all through Romania. Hotels are from 2* - 5* in different cities of RO : Grand Hotel 5* (Bucharest), Hello Hotels 2* (Bucharest), Forum 4* (Sibiu), Forum 4* (Oradea), Forum 4* (Arad), Suceava 3*, Tg. Mures 3*, Drobeta Turnu Severin 3*. My work was in the Sales & Marketing Dept – HEADQUARTER. From this position (Senior Sales Coordinator) I had access to all 9 hotels. Once a week I held the conference calls with the Sibiu sales team (sometimes with other locations as well). I took care more of the Corporate segment, than the Leisure / Travel Agencies ones. In only 3 years of work, the number of Romanian tourists have increased from ~23.000 pers (2007) to 51.000 pers (2008).
