This letter is to give a brief introduction about myself, my name is Anita Shiji, Indian nationality, born
and raised in Dubai U.A.E. Professionally I have been in the corporate world of Finance and Audit
with Emirates Airlines for over 12 years, until I decided to pursue my passion for pastry seriously.
I have always been a home Baker, taking birthday and party orders etc. during weekends, but wanted
to do more and pursue it on a full time basis. Therefore in 2017, I got out of my comfort zone and
decided to resign my job and follow my dream which was getting a certification from Le Cordon Bleu
Paris. Being a wife and mother it was a difficult decision to leave my family behind for a year and to
follow my passion.
I have attained part of that dream, and now, a qualified Patisserie diploma graduate from Le Cordon
Bleu, Paris. I am definitely more confident and skilled from all the techniques and tips learnt from the
very best French patisserie chefs in Paris.
I do not have any hotel or restaurant working experience as my previous employment resume would
prove of my Finance and Audit background (resume can be provided on request).
It would be a great experience for me to be part of a reputed food and beverage industry to be able
to work under the guidance of well versed chefs and their teams of expertise where I can expand my
knowledge and further improve my skills. Since I have no previous work experience in this field, my
resume is very basic, but I can assure that being in a corporate firm for years, it’s not hard for me to
adjust to new areas, understand the goals and objectives, putting in long hours, attention to details,
being a team player, time management and cleanliness. I can also show few of my creations and work
done at LCB as per request. I am also familiar with Boulangerie and would like to extend my assistance
in that area as well, if needed.
I believe my qualification, passion and dedication would allow me to become a key member among
your pastry team which in turn would help me grow and challenge myself to be a passionate Patisserie
chef in the future!

position in your team.
