About me

I am interested in the position mentioned above. Since I have acquired enough experience, exposure and multiple skills needed in the current Hospitality trends. Am ready for a career change and challenge that comes with it, guarantying that my work will exceed your expectations.

I have worked in different establishments in the hospitality industry with over 12 years to date and a recently acquired Diploma in Hospitality Management certification. Started my career as an intern later service crew and rose to the management level. Over the years I have become an excellent team player by going the extra mile since it’s never ever crowded, being hands-on with an extra set of keen eye and attention to fine details, offering in house staff training with certification as a Strong morale and Motivation factor for my team members.
Having attended food safety and Agribusiness consultants training in Graceland and associates and gotten a certificate of participation, hence am able to supervise food and beverage preparations, storage as handled by all parties to ensure all safety procedures, regulations, and health codes are adhered to at all times.

My personal qualities are combined with my diverse experience and contribution to Urban Eatery Restaurants in Westland’s Nairobi where I was the floor shift leader from 2016 Sep to 2018 Nov and was promoted to training manager from Dec 2019 to date . Urban Eatery brings a multi-cuisine offered from different and specialized outlets with design and love for food.

At Emeli Hotel (Nairobi) when we opened I joined as a Food and Beverage Manager and was later promoted to Operations Manager, before I left to wind up on my part-time course and project work in Hospitality Management at zetech university. Got to learn more by working with the different heads of departments in the entire days operations.

At Marble Arch Hotel (Nairobi) I was Senior Restaurant Supervisor and Reliever Manager. It then moulded me into a refined Banqueting Coordinator while liaising with the other interlinked departments so as to execute all duties diligently.

With a combination of skills, talents, Honesty, trustworthy, Very good time management, focused customer care service and guest relations, active listening skills with ability to deal with guests complains in a first and professional manner at all times.
