I have been a nurse for 12 years now, I have both work from a hospitality sector and Hospital setting, caring for colleagues that needs medical attention, and teaching them how to prevent illnesses. I am also experience in administration task for I do handle the applications for visa medical, occupational health cards and their insurance. I have assisted 3 properties in their pre-openings here in Dubai and Abu Dhabi which are all luxury properties.

I am a proactive person, a team player, who has a sunny disposition in life and a hard working individual. I do easily adapt to my surrounding and do care about people.

     Responsible for application and monitoring for occupational health card for all food handlers and non- food handlers to Dubai municipality for new colleagues and renewals of existing OHC.  Responsible for typing visa medical applications, payments and tracking all employees scheduled for appointments.  Assists new employees for their visa medical and occupational health card medical.  In-charge of the Insurance policy for all employees in the hotel (Addition, Cancellation, Reimbursement, Health facility issues concerning the policy)  In-charge of monthly audits of enrollments, waivers, terminations to ensure invoice accuracy for the insurance policy.  Provide information of all benefits of the insurance and procedures to all colleagues through orientation.  Provides information during orientation regarding health and Safety.  Trained First aider and Basic life support provider.  Ensure there are adequate numbers of qualified first aid within the hotel and that these people attend refresher courses at regular intervals.  Supervise all first aid posts, ensuring that all kits are adequately with supply and accident registers are being use.  Document all incidents report about work injury/accidents during work hours.  Monitoring those employees who have on-going medical problems, e.g. hypertension, diabetes, epilepsy and on-going treatment of injury sustained from work.  Member of the HACCP team and maintain HACCP standards for food handlers return to work policy.  Provide a counselling service for both private and work related problems for all employees.  Provide first aid available to all employees and guest.  Ensure the effective and efficient administration of the service by: *The purchase and maintenance of equipment and supplies for the first aid treatment room. *The establishment and maintenance of a policy and procedure manual.  Accept responsibility for the initiation and maintains of communication with: • Outside medical authorities/ consultants, government agencies, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, insurance companies, etc.  To maintain good relations with and liaise where appropriate with the Government Health officials and the Government Hospital.

Collate and collect all documents required to-complete the submission of the application forms.  Process claim forms for reimbursement of medical services for employees.  Conducts monthly audits of enrolments, waivers, terminations to ensure invoice accuracy.  Provides first aid to employees and guests as required.  Ensures that the first aid treatment is in proper working order and fully stocked with appropriate supplies for first aid.  Liaise with clinics, hospitals and physicians to obtain updated medical information for employees.  Ensures that all First Aid boxes in the resort has adequate first aid items.  Ensures that all confidential medical records of employees is handle properly.  Monitors associates who are on sick leave and ensure that the appropriate forms are utilize.  Provides refresher training for first Aid and other health related trainings to the employees on a regular basis as in-house training.  Assisting the company in developing Health and Safety policies.
