I, Daniel Debattista, am an 18-year old, ITS student, studying Diploma in Food and Preparation. I live in Hamrun which is close to the capital city of Malta, Valletta. My previous studies were at St. Albert The Great College, where I had obtained my qualifications to enter at ITS. Apart from studying, I am currently working as a Commis Chef at the Grand Hotel Excelsior located at Valletta. I have been working there for 1 year with other previous working experiences such as Dr. Juice Malta and Sapori Pizza, Pasta, and Grill. I had also other experience for a few months at Bistroteca Malta. I mainly worked in A'la Carte and larder sections through which I managed to get a number of culinary skills together with other skills including working within a team, understanding what happens within a kitchen and able to take care of specific sections in my own hands. My aim is to continue studying and working within this sector as to open my own business.
