I am a marketing and sales manager with nearly 10 years experience in the wine business, working mostly as a general manager for Italian wineries following the production process and the marketing.
I have my own company DBL Consulting, with which I do marketing consulting mostly focused in developing F&B sales networks in international markets.
Marketing, food and wine are my big passions, I am now seeking for a new challenge that can make me improve my management and marketing skills and my knowledge of drink industry in international markets. In my actual job as a wine manager for a cruise company, I am working daily with F&B manager focusing my attention on food besides wine and general beverages.

I entered this world very young, in 2003, graduating as the youngest professional Sommelier of Rome with the Italian Sommelier Association. Meanwhile I continued my studies at LUMSA University of Rome developing my knowledge for another big passion, Marketing and Communication.
In 2008 I managed to join both passions and started to manage my family project of d’Alessandro Winery, based in Sicily (Italy) and following since the beginning both the production and marketing, bringing this Winery to be placed all over the world in just a few years.
In 2005 I become an Italian Cheese expert and in 2010 a Beer Sommelier after attending the first beer course of Italy organized by A.I.S (Italian Sommelier Association) and AssoBirra (Italian beer association). I have attempted Olive oil classes organized by Italian Olive Oil Sommelier Association.
Since 2014 I am Master Sommelier following the F.I.S (Italian Sommelier Foundation) ‘Wine Master’ organized together with W.S.A (World Sommelier Association) and Sapienza University of Rome. In 2012 I was appointed ‘honorary membership’ of A.B.S, the Brazilian sommelier Association.
Thanks to my studies and my working experiences, today I have a very good general knowledge of food and beverage
September 2012, I started a new project in managing, the only winery in the city of Rome: Gelso della Valchetta. In just 2 years this winery reached important targets and started selling wine all over the world. In 2014 I bought 30% of the winery shares.
With my company, DBL Consulting, I organize and develop wine marketing and sommelier classes worldwide, with experiences in several markets such as Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Brazil, China, Myanmar, Philippines, Australia, USA, Laos and other more.
Thanks to my studies and the working experiences today I have excellent sales and marketing competence, a great general knowledge of food and beverege and very good guest relation skills.
