Responsibilities include: · Managing all employee on-boarding processes ranging from recruitment & induction through to training & further development · Delivering train-the-trainer workshops and comprehensive induction programmes · Managing our training calendar · Driving culture change and embedding company values, purpose & mission statement · Coaching management teams on HR procedures such as performance reviews, appraisals and disciplinaries · Advising on menu development, marketing campaigns and operational decisions in helping to develop, introduce and support new systems & processes such as HR platforms and POS interfaces · Taking on operational responsibility in managing GMs and labour budgets in the absence of the Operations Manager Having started in the company as a waiter, in my previous roles within POLPO I have successfully managed several key sites as General Manager, assisted with site openings & disposals and turned struggling restaurant sites around.
