Consistently offer professional, friendly & proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues. Assist in preparation & service of all food items for a la carte and or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standard. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils & equipment. Maintaining high standard of hygiene. Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions. Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards. Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef. Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food & beverages. Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation. Other duties as assigned.
