My name is Doroteya Decheva, I was born in Bulgaria, but I am also half Romanian. I currently live in Brasov where I am studying International Hotel Business Management at the American Hotel Academy Romania (accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University). One of my strenghts is the languages - Native Bulgarian and English speaker, fluent in French and Romanian, studying Spanish, vague understanding of Russian.
I believe I truly belong to the hospitality industry because I feel enormous satisfaction when hosting events at home, helping friends, family or even strangers. My goal in life is to gain knowledge from around the world and to eventually run a business alongside my sister in which we implement the highest standards. Our mission is to develop our native countries and to contribute to their hospitality/architectural progress.

Volunteer for the cause “Build them a school. Build them a future”, part of the “Pencils of Promise” Organization
I took a leading part in raising 30,000$ by an online platform which is part of the
“Pencils of Promise” organization. My classmates and our US “Fullbright” teacher created an
influential video to help bring awareness on the illiteracy rate in the third-world countries. The money
was used for building a primary school in Ghana (Africa).
