JBrown is very customer service based real estate company. By this, they made sure that we got to know our clients very well so we could get them their ideal property. This was a good experience as this was a very young company 6 months old. As I have proficiently on Adobe Photoshop I was also put in charge of creating all the new properties photos and floorplans, I also created the brochures and for new developments, properties and investment opportunities. One of my key tasks was taking the photos of the properties and editing them so they look professional. Over my time a JBrown. I worked very close to the directors by this I was able to help them with my strengths and knowledge on certain areas while the taught me an industry I had no previous knowledge of.

Valet Apartments is a serviced apartment provider, which had 53 apartments around London when I was working with them. On this internship, I was a Guest Service Associate. By this, I mean that to be the first contact of the guests. I had to answer any guest inquiries, take bookings, check in guests to the apartment if it was a personal check-in. As it was a young company we had different side projects to do every few weeks. One of my first tasks was trying to figure out how the new Property management system (Elina) works as they were going to implement over the time I was there and then had to explain my findings to one of the (owners) directors. Another of these was helping the company’s marketing by this me and a co-worker came up with strategies on how we can improve our customer loyalty and getting more direct guests which, we had to present this in front of the two directors and the guest service manager.
