I am currently at the University of Derby studying Events Management and before that I attended The Brunt’s Academy where I obtained my GCSE’s and A, Levels. My back ground is the performing arts and stage management. I ran the Musical Theatre club based at the The Brunts Academy, where I set and organise the performances. I have also organised, marketed and produced a sold out show to raise money for charity. I am a confident individual who can work on my own as well as working as part of a team. I inspire to improve myself and gain as much experience in the work place as possible and I am willing to undertake any courses which will improve my skills and goals. I am also able to take constructive criticism and use this to improve. I have worked at The Range Store at Sutton In Ashfield where I was on the customer service desk so I have experience in dealing the general public and cash handling and then I obtained employment with Casual Dining Group being based at Café Rouge at Center Parcs Sherwood where I still have a part time contract of 10 hrs per month. I have gained experience in front house roles including waitressing, delivery of food to paying guests, bar and been the restaurants host seating the diners.

I have done experience as an events assistant, working a wedding fair, ran by Country Brides who organise wedding fairs around Britain. I set up, worked, and put away on the event, in the Devonshire Dome, setting up chairs for the fashion show and doing the chair covers and bows. I showed visitors around and helped the stall holders set up and dismantle, also I networked exploring and gaining knowledge from the wedding venues and stall holders on how much benefit the fairs do for their business.

Cafe Rouge - Nottingham, United KingdomOtherOctober 2016 - Now · 2 years and 4 months
Currently I am employed by Casual dining group, and working at Café rouge, at Center Parcs Sherwood forest. Where I have been on food out and hatch as well as working on the bar, this has enabled me to deal with busy periods effectively and to maintain a high standard which the company expects as I am normally on the bar on my own. I have also done hosting; where I am expected to sort out the table plans and make sure that the guest are shown to the right table, engaging with them to enhance their dining experience. As well as I have to be able to adapt quickly when problems arise like walk in guest who would like a table when we are busy or sorting out the deposit slips for the guests so the right amount of money is taken off, as well as helping out other sections in busy periods. On top of that I am a waitress on pouch, were I have learnt how to deal with the quick paced environment of the hospitality and dining experience as well as cash handling, and making sure the customer has an amazing experience, so this includes dealing with complaints fast and effectively.
