    Working as part of an overseas team in Kos consisting on an international team of 250, I was responsible for representing TUI UK and Ireland. My role consisted of leading welcome meetings for large groups of guests (ranging from 40 to 110 people) four times a week, where I would outline the hotel, resort and experiences offered by TUI. I was also responsible for generating sales from these welcome meetings as well as getting to know the guests likes and dislikes, helping to build a friendly report, giving me the opportunity to offer the best possible experiences. Along with generating sales, I was required to deal with all complaints and work alongside the hotel or external suppliers to resolve problems bought to my attention. This role is target driven and we as individuals are targeted on four KPIs, which influences future placements.     As part of the central sales team for Lime Venue Portfolio, I am responsible for selling the events space for 90 venues across the UK, including venues such as Twickenham, The Jockey Clubs, HMS Belfast and Bristol Zoo. I am responsible for dealing with incoming enquiries from agencies, corporate client and charities. I will liaise between the venues and agents/direct clients to obtain the best available quotes from venues which suits the client’s requirements. The enquiries are processed through Gratis and the venues would respond via Venue Directory before I proof read the proposal and send them on to the client for consideration. Another element of my job is proactive calling; I will make follow up calls to past corporate clients such as British Airways, Unilever, Deutsche Bank and Sony Music Entertainment International to see whether they have any events coming up for the remainder of the year and whether or not we are able to offer our free venue finding services.

    As part of a small team at Wellcome Collection, within the Wellcome Trust, I was responsible for account management. This includes building and maintaining relationships with repeat clients such as Combat Stress and Alzheimer's Research UK. I was also responsible for developing partnerships with new clients such as Debenhams and Turner Broadcasting. One of my main duties was to prepare the venue prior to the start of an event, this included setting up audio-visual equipment and liaising with our catering and room management teams to confirm everything was in place for the client’s arrival. Along with running events, I dealt with all incoming enquiries, logging them onto our booking system Kinetics and arranging site visits. For these visits, I provided information on room set ups, the capacities plus available rates and catering options. I have represented Wellcome Collection at event exhibitions such as Square Meal which is held at Old Billinsgate Market in London every year. Also marketing in this way, I was responsible for aside the team in creating and delivering Cclient event nights at the venue, which was a positive way of promoting the business. Here, I would liase with our onsite caterers to create menus and cocktails to fit our theme, I would then negotiate the best possible costs to fit within budget. I also worked alongside marketing agency Triggerfish to promote the venue through Twitter, I was also responsible for tweeting on an ad-hoc basis. My role grew from issuing deposit invoices to chasing outstanding payments older than 31 days, within the time i was responsible for aged debt, I obtained payments up to the value of £20,000
