Dear Sir / Madam,
I have the pleasure to send you my Cover Letter for the application.
I am currently working at HotelBeds Group, as Contract Account Manager within the Sourcing team. Nowadays, HotelBeds Group is the first company selling hotel’s room to travel agency and Tour operators.
I am in charge for the development of new suppliers in the area of Central Italy. My main duties are to find new Hotels and arrange a business meeting togheter with the decision maker to aim to evaluate the agreement conditions between us. Once the Hotel is selling through our distribution channels, is my task to optimize our revenue, trying to propose new offer and discount for special targets of clients or during some months throughout the year. Every new offer is proposed to our supplier only after an analytic study of the area, considering the average fares applied from others supplier for a specific period.
I am very autonomous to organize my agenda and prioritize the area to develop, according to our year target. My business trips in the area far from Rome are used to be at least of 3 days, in which I have to move by car according with the agenda, previously set up. I organize up to 7 meetings per day.
I worked as Account Executive at Market Resource Partner, an American company located in Belfast (UK),working on behalf of the most known IT Companies (such as Dell, Fujitsu, Ruckus-Brocade, Cisco, Intel), to develop and increase their presence within the Italian market. Due to these tasks, I work daily with C-level IT Manager to realize their needs and to propose new solutions for their business. I decided to dismiss last September.
I am the Founder & Ceo at VisitSicily, a start-up digital project for incoming tourism in Sicily.
I have been in charge with several tasks and duties, such as: Business Development, B2B and B2C Sales, Marketing campaigns, Customer Support, Invioces and taxes payments. The project is still ongoing, and I switched our business model in a pay per click earning.
I have obtained my Master’s Degree in Marketing and Corporate Communication at University of Urbino (Italy), 110/100 cum lode.
I have attained the First Level Master in Sportive Management (Faculty of Economy, University of Catania). I have obtain the Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and International Relations (Department of Political Science, University of Catania).
During my Master I had a great experience abroad, started on September 2014, at Hochschule University of Aalen (Germany), Master’s Degree in International Martketing and Sales.
