About me

I am an undergraduate studying Gastronomy at a Degree level (second year student). I have decided to change my line of work and start a new course because I want to get more opportunities regarding work which will lead me to more fields of work. With my experience as a chef, and my recent studies in Gastronomy, I can understand better the study of food, its history, science, the culture that evolves around it and from a marketing aspect related to this industry.

Can food be considered as art? Art is a subjective matter and so is food with a symbolic sense which is used to communicate ideas, values, tastes and opinions. Food is used in several contexts and has an enormous influence on attitudes and choices one makes in life.
