I am an undergraduate student pursuing my Bachelor of Sciences in International Hospitality Management at the École hôtelière de Lausanne (Lausanne, Switzerland). I consider myself as a very organised, friendly and open-minded person, committed to learning and self-development. I am not afraid of collaborating with new people and teamwork has always been my strong point. I enjoy taking initiative, working with technology in general and helping people around me.

I would love to further expand my knowledge in areas such as International Relations, cross-cultural understanding, protocol and etiquette.

I have lived in Paris (France), Geneva (Switzerland) and Barcelona (Spain), which makes me a French, Spanish and Catalan native speaker with a very good level of English.

Experience

  • Student Assistant - Admissions Office (South European Market)

École hôtelière de Lausanne - Lausanne, Switzerland

    Sales & Marketing
    September 2018 - Now · 3 months

  • Student Ambassador

École hôtelière de Lausanne - Lausanne, Switzerland

    Guest Relations
    February 2018 - Now · 10 months

Selected along with 3 other Preparatory Year students to become a Student Ambassador from February 2018, at the end of my first semester at the École hôtelière de Lausanne. Student Ambassadors act as a link between the school and the outside community. They represent school values during open days, selection days and other events by performing guided tours to potential students, their families or external guests and by helping the Admissions Officers during selection interviews.

  • Operational Internship

    Disneyland Paris - Paris, France

    Front Office reception
    February 2018 - August 2018 · 7 months

This internship has been one of the most enriching experiences I have had in my life. I did not only develop my skills and learned about the hospitality industry: I truly became part of a team by gaining the confidence of my colleagues and feeling secure when around them. I also learned from one of the most iconic and largest resort in the world how to welcome guests and create unforgettable and magical lifetime experiences. I am sure the skills learned during this internship will be extremely useful in the years to come both from a personal and a professional standpoint. With 1093 rooms, the Disney's Hotel Newport Bay Club is the largest hotel of France and 4rth largest establishment of Europe. It is sometimes difficult to make each guest feel unique, but cast members know how to exceed customer expectations and make the Disney Magic come alive in every corner of the resort. As a receptionist at the Disney's Hotel Newport Bay Club, my main responsibilities were: checking-in/out guests; advising on attractions, shows, restaurants and activities in the resort; booking themed restaurants depending on guest needs; selling other services from the resort (VIP tours, excursions, shows, ...); upselling rooms when possible; respecting procedures with efficiency while maintaining a high level of service; ensuring children's enthusiasm and integration from the first moment while spreading Disney Magic. I also helped other teams of the hotel during my internship, such as the Compass Club reception (higher quality standards and personalisation of service for VIP guests and hotel suites), as well as the Convention Center reception (for businesses and groups visiting Disneyland Paris). I also worked for other locations during my internship, both in the parks and in the hotel, such as in City Hall (Guest Relations) and the hotel's Housekeeping Department.
