I study and work in the Hospitality Industry. Currently I'm a student of Hospitality Management at Les Roches Marbella (I'm doing the fourth semester) and I just finished an internship. I've been in service (including wine pairing, bartender and service techniques) and kitchen for 6 months each and I've just finished a 6-month period as an intern in the vice presidency of operations of the hotel chain Karisma Hotels & Resorts in México.
I'm very communicative, I like to deal with guests and I'm good at problem solving. I'm a fast learner and I'm always passionate on my job. I like teamwork and I like to organise all kind of events and projects. I like to make people happy and I always make the effort to make people smile.

In this internship I learnt about the corporative section of a hotel chain. I'm learning about sales, communication between all the departments in the hotel, management of the hotels and the brand, launching of new services and products, new projects and improving of the existing ones... I learnt how to apply finances at a hotel, how to support an investment of a new project, how to analize the accounting of a hotel and how to start a new project from the beginning and step by step.

During 6 months I've worked in differents types of kitchens inside the school (buffet, bistro, bussiness lunch and fine dining a la carte) and learned all the basis of kitchen techniques. I also learned how to organise a kitchen and plan a menu and the different types of equipment needed in the different types of kitchens. I learned how to be a leader at the kitchen as I was the Head Chef one time so I had to create the menus, supervise every area and everyone and make sure that everything was smooth and in time. I also learned how to use Opera and manage all the front office accounting.

I also learned how to work as a bartender and how to pair wines and food and the different categories and types of wines. I learned how to cooperate and work in a team and how to act proffesionally to give a impecable service to the guests, always smiling to make them feel home. I also practiced how to work in Front Office as a recepcionist (manually) and how to work in Housekeeping.
