    I started working for several events organizers and venues in Paris in 2015. I occupied (and still do) different positions: • Bar manager • Cloakroom manager • Cashier • Inventory control Something quite enriching about these jobs, is that I discovered what night-work is, and learned to work long shifts (10 to 16 hours). In addition, it allowed me to get in touch and grow a relationship with the owners and managers of some of Paris' biggest clubs and venues, as well as the influential actors of this very specific industry. Working in this sector also taught me how to deal with "difficult" customers and allowed me to gain in reactivity and efficiency. I was a versatile worker, which meant to work in different outlets and departments.     I had the chance to be part of the Shangri-La Parisian team on my first year's internship. My tasks were the following: • Set up the restaurant for the service • Dress the appetizers • Ensure conjunction between the kitchen and the service • Be the liaison between the restaurant and the bar and the pastry departments I worked different shifts (split-shifts), and each involved different responsibilities: • Opening: I was due to open the restaurant, and get everything ready for the service (polish the plates and the cutlery, prepare the appetizers, roll the face towels, set up the tables, clear the tables, iron the tablecloths...) • Service: Ensure both lunch and dinner services, and clean afterwards • Closing: I was due to close the restaurant, and make sure everything is clean and ready for the following service (check and clean the room, clear the tables, tidy the back offices, sort the laundry...)
