-Attending to rooms for example by: replenishing guest amenities, making beds, dusting and vacuuming, changing guest towels and bathrobes. -Attending to and cleaning public areas assigned to me. -Sorting of clothing’s and operating laundry machinery for example; washing machine, drier and the calendar ironing machine to perform the different duties assigned to me in the laundry area. -Answering telephone calls in the housekeeping office and laundry area and assist the guests and members of staff. -Assisting the floor supervisors and housekeeping manager to prepare daily work/duty sheets for the room attendants and public area attendants. -Assisting the different floor supervisors to clear vacant rooms for potential occupation by guests. -Assisting floor supervisors to take the stock details from the housekeeping staff for compilation during stock taking periods. -Relaying information about the status of rooms to the front office staff.
