About me

My name is Joao Leite, I'm 25, and I hereby submit my application for Floor Manger. I'm a dynamic and reliable person, eager to learn and to acquire new skills. I have a degree in Tourism from the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology - Peniche, Portugal.

I've been interested in the hospitality industry for many years now. I had my first work experience when I was still studying. After that, when I did my first internship, I envisaged how hotels could engage with guests by delivering elegant experiences focused on exceeding their expectations, and how rewarding it is to receive recognition for that effort. This interest matured to a goal, ambition that I look forward to accomplish, the creation and opening of my own hotel. This journey brought me to London, city where I would learn more, city where the hospitality industry shows it self as one of the best and where are found astonishing properties that only look to provide the greatest experiences.

From my CV, which is attached to this letter, I would highlight my experience as F&B Supervisor at the London Marriott County Hall particularly at Gillray's Steakhouse & Bar, position I've been occupying for the last year and 6 months, and where I was responsible also for the a Excellence Training Program, a pioneer initiative that was achieved by training all departments accordingly to their managers needs that recorded astonishing results on our guest satisfaction feedback.

I believe I have the knowledge required for the position I am applying for, notably managing a team according to the hotel's goals prioritizing the company's values. I am a team player, I try to look into the strength of every individual that will create a strong team. Regular guests are another priority of mine, create a bound with them is a important line of my work. Since I started my first internship, I had the curiosity to learn, inquiring to my supervisors and managers to teach me new this gave the knowledge that I have today I am fast-learner and I'm ready for a new challenge. Given my technical expertise, I strongly believe that I have the skills and enthusiasm you are looking for.
