     Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.  Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.  Manage room reservations using a computerized reservations system.  Address guests concerns and special requests in a professional manner.  Ensure that guests are settled comfortably in their rooms, makes necessary adjustments if needed.  Answer telephone calls and transfers these to guest rooms.  Manage online and phone reservations.  Prepare bills, handle and process checkouts, take payments.  Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that great quality service is provided to guests.  Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details).  Answer queries of guests about various information and services of the hotel.  Receiving and sorting daily mail.  Performing booking in cases when reservation office is closed.  Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.  Passport scans.
