About me

During my current study, I have received experience in many practical areas within the Hospitality branch, especially regarding Public Relations, service and sustainability management.
In my study, I maintain a proactive attitude and sign up for as many projects as possible. Among other things, I have entered the student council, where discussions and debates are created to positively influence and change the student behaviour and the effectiveness of classes. I participate in every opportunity that is offered by a teacher, and actively organize small events for my class. Next to this, I have volunteered to gather and give primary data for the lecturers, volunteered at CHME17 (Council for Hospitality Management Education), became a tutor to introduce new students to their new study and student life and was asked to represent UCN at the international student fair in my home country twice.

Prior to this study, I worked mainly in tourism. Where I was responsible for the satisfaction of averaged 200 guests per week while keeping the sales of activities at a high level. The duties to maintain this are very diverse, ranging from reception at the airport to selling, organizing and managing events. The wide diversity of activities meant it was necessary to show a high level of flexibility, while problems can turn up any time of the day. What helped me during the most extreme times is working together with my team, in which we trusted each other and were able to divide both responsibilities and priorities.

I strongly believe that the combination of my educational background and my previous work experience qualify me for a challenging opportunity, my current goal is starting at a good company with the prospect to continue and grow. Besides the points I have written there are many aspects in which I am capable or willing to grow in. I look forward to discussing potential possibilities and my contributions towards any interested company.
