The lectures in the framework of the guest professorship will deal with 'gender related research in international law and/or political science and international relations with a focus on human rights and/or migration’. The Law students at the European Centre for Human Rights and Democracy will be able to discuss Gender and Politics, aiming at living in society in a humanistic way, with peaceful relations, respect in a gender equality.

    Leila Bijos é pós-doutora em Sociologia do Desenvolvimento. Trabalhou como coordenadora e professora de pós-graduação em Comércio Exterior, Cooperação Técnica Internacional, e fundadora do Curso de Relações Internacionais do UniCEUB. Professora do Mestrado em Direito de Política Internacional (UCB). Consultora em Negociações Internacionais, especialista em Direito Internacional Humanitário (IIDH). Atua como professora no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Propriedade Intelectual e Transferência de Tecnologia para Núcleos de Inovação Tecnológica (PROFNIT), na Universidade de Brasília. Autora de mais de 50 artigos especializados, livros e co-autorias. Curso de Negociação Internacional, CASIN, Genebra, Suíça. Cursos de Direito Internacional Humanitário, IIDH, San José, Costa Rica e IIDH, Strasbourg, França. É Adjunct Professor na Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Canada; pesquisadora visitante da Universidade de Hyderabad, Índia, do Programa de Doutorado em Economia Internacional da Universidade de Tsukuba, e professora visitante da University of Califórnia, San Diego (UCSD). Bolsista do Programa Fulbright na Universidade da Califórnia em San Diego, 2004/2005. Participou de vários cursos de Política Internacional nos EUA, Suíça, Taiwan, Israel, dentre outros.
