    5 month internship working in the German owned "Blue Oyster Hotel" located on the pristine East Coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania. Focus areas on online marketing (including generating a marketing strategy, managing social media, creating content, photographing property, developing marketing material), CSR and brand development. When required I have carried out receptionist tasks such as guest check-in/out, customer service and similar. During my internship I have kept focus on the hotel's core value of sustainability, and have also worked with developmental tasks related to community involvement and relation between hotel and locals (local employment, livelihood improvements, cultural conservation and so forth).

    During July to October 2016, I carried out my Internship with the non-profit organisation Art in Tanzania, located 1-hour outside of Dar Es Salaam. My focus was on improving internal communication and the cultural understanding between the employees and the managers. Additionally, I worked in close cooperation with the local Tanzanians in order to improve their working environment and the visitor satisfaction. Alongside the internship I taught English most afternoons to kids at the age of 5-10.

    Since 2012 I have been working with Stena Line A/S, one of the biggest ferry and travel operators in Europe. Furthermore, I have worked with the loyalty programme offered to our guests and the direct communication with guests both via telephone and email.     In June 2017 I achieved an AP Degree in Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management from University College of Northern Denmark with a grade average solidly above average. During my studies I spent my internship abroad in Tanzania, where I got to apply my theoretical knowledge to real life case studies and everyday life of an African NGO, offering tourism tours to volunteers working with them. My final thesis was done on how to improve the sustainability of the said NGO. Additionally I scored the highest mark on my Finance Exam.
