As part of the banqueting management team, I was responsible for running smooth and successful functions throughout various locations in the whole resort and outside caterings. This includes weekly and daily planning/ordering of material, equipment and staff for various and often simultaneous events as well as intradepartmental meetings and organization. Managing and training the banqueting staff consisting of event managers, service and set up co-workers, service interns and external staff we held events for up to 600 pax. Other tasks included performance reviews, job interviews, introducing new structures within the department, SOP adaptation and representing the department in the absence of the banqueting manager in all aspects.

Spa stretching over 2km above the Vierwaldstättersee in the heart of Switzerland. - F&B Administration: various pre-opening tasks such as translating & preparing Menus, helping organising trainings & general information - Sommelier: Assisting the Sommelier team price-checking the wine list as well as negotiating and placing wine orders, handling delivery and storing of delivered wine & goods. - F&B Operations: Assisting the Lobby, Lounge & Room Service Manager in their daily tasks, leading operations in their absence, supervising 4 Outlets and between 10-15 staff members, ensuring quality of service, assisting in the pre-opening and opening phase of 2 hotels, dealing with guest complaints and ensuring guest as well as employee satisfaction. -F&B Operations: Managing the Lobby, Lounge & Room Service Department for 2 months during a transition phase including all aspects of leading an outlet (Operations, Planning, HR - related tasks, etc.) as well as introducing the new management to the department. - F&B Operations: Assisting the Operations Manager in optimizing and leading the Waldhotel F&B Operations by creating SOPs, training, leading shifts. - Trainee tasks: defining SOP's with the F&B Director, procurement of various operational equipment, setting up the mini bar in 2 Hotels from defining products to actually installing mini bars.
In charge of running the Breakfast Buffet including Service, ordering, stocking, stewarding and inventoring. Receptionist running the Front Office & breakfast area including night auditing, check-ins, reservations ordering, stocking, stewarding and showing the ropes to the new reception teamleader
Management Internship during 6 months in a 611-rooms resort from Westin just outside Panama City, Panama. Restaurant Supervisor in charge of evening service and staff, handling complaints and special requests and assuring quality and pace. Minibar Supervisor in charge of restructuring the whole Minibar Department, introducing new SOP's, FIFO, inventory management techniques and assuring brand standards are being followed. Assistant to the Rooms Division Manager in charge of various projects: create decoration upsell packages and launch them, implement tool for higher number of loyalty program subscriptions (SPG), develop a checklist for the new MOD, redesign and improve the hotel's daily information poster, design and order new practical and efficient reception furniture and various further administrative tasks.
