Since the beginning of this year, I have handed myself to a new world where actually I am responsible for a post of fraud verification agent in an online pharmacy which cater more than 500 best websites online. Being in the customer service, my objectives have been very clear upon the decisions or the ambitions that I am currently nurturing in my head.
I look upon giving the best of what I can afford and exceling in my field.
Assuming new responsibilities and taking charge upon all the task given to me and at the end giving some meaningful results that is expected from myside.
Alongside being a detective like agent that we, as kid would dream to, I am doing my internship at Lux Belle Mare which is the second best hotels as per TripAdvisor.
This year I am doing the four departments: Housekkeping, Front office, Kitchen and F&B departments.
I believe diversing myself in the hotel fields, would boost my knowledge and my limits to a new level.
3 years and 8 months
I worked at the Human Resource department for one month and I was assigned with a lot of responsibilities. With 800+ employees, the filed is very demanding and actually test your patience. In the HR department, I was assigned to handle new recruits, with all the paper works such as identification, address, bank account. I also assisted some interviews and worked on the assessment to hire an employee. I worked on welfare for the employees such as Long years service night, farewell party, where i invited the employees and worked on the implantation of the letter. i was working closely with the Foreign affair In Mauritius as well in regards to the visa of the trainee hiring from abroad. I did filing, Insurance of employees as well
The last step of my first year will end with a four month of management training mainly in the Front office department whereby I would be indulging into the guest relation, concierge. Then the f&b department.
F&B department which remain the most important aspect of the operational has been a very enlighten journey for me. Being in a service and understanding the routine has been a challenge and at the same time, a way to broaden my knowledge
Working in the different outlets of Lux Belle Mare Mauritius, whereby one can acquire all the knowledge of the proper functioning of the kitchen, maintain the sop of the department, focus centered, maintain relationship with other co workers and dealing with the ups and downs and the mishap that can occur in the kitchen.
Helping guess with their queries, understanding their needs, coming up with solutions, providing activities, coming up with the best possible options, maintaing a good guess and staff relationship
Welcoming guess, daily feedback, acknowledgment of the difficulties facing, food related issues, complaints, assisting with any kind of hurdles, maintaing a good relationship with other co workers, preparing daily events
Learning about the whole sop of the room, maintain the standard of the hotel, making a perfect room. Learning about the aspect of a supervisor, room allocation system, roaster for working staff, maintain a good relationship with other co workers and helping them in critical moment.
