Hello everyone, my name is Nori and I am a new graduate in International Hotel Management student at ITHQ. I am passionate about hospitality and personalizing customer service. I love to work in team but I also work pretty well alone. I am an outgoing versatile person who love to be challanged and as well as trying new things. I am looking forward to be a Restaurant Manager in a company that reflect the same values as mine such as: loyalty, honesty, respect and recognition.

The element I am most passionate about in life is travelling. I visited yet 18 countries and I affectionate particularly learning about new cultures and languages. One of my main goal in life is to be able to speak at least five languages fluently and to have visited all continents. I also love to be outside and in nature.

Hospitality is made for me, and I am proud to be one of its ambassador!

Experience

  • Banquet Server

La Maison Carrier Besson - Montreal, Canada

    Events
    November 2015 - January 2018 · 2 years and 3 months

Since my second year of study at ITHQ, i've been working as a Banquet server for La Maison Carrier Besson/Agnus Dei. The compagny allows me to well balance school and work since i'm working only on contracts. One thing I really love about this job is that I get to wear costumes and special make-up for different theme events. My job is to make clients happy and this way of working make it work. Here are few assignments that I enjoy doing while working at Agnus Dei : - Serving wine and amuse-bouche - Describing wine and food - Setting and resetting the reception room

  • Hostess / Junior Server (internship)

The Rimrock Resort Hotel - Banff, Canada

    F&B service
    June 2015 - October 2015 · 5 months

As my first ever internship in the hospitality industry, I had the chance of going to Banff for 4 months, at the beautiful Rimrock Resort. This opportunity was an amazing experience for me and I had the chance to work as an hostess in a 4 diamants hotel for the first time. It gave me motivation to keep going higher in positions in the food and beverage departement. Within this internship, here are certain tasks I enjoyed doing : - Gladly greeting and walking the guests - Joyfully describing specials of the day and important informations - Rigorously setting and resetting the restaurant
