Working around the world on 3 continents - Europe, Asia and South America - over the past 5 years has instigated in me many things - a love of travel, the joy of building relationships with colleagues of different nationalities and the chance to prove myself in a global setting.
Being bilingual in English and Spanish with a basic level of Portuguese and French obviously helps too as it means I can converse with guests and colleagues in a more genuine and heartfelt way and that leads to improved customer service skills.
I think my iniative is key to my success so far, being able to implement new ways of working or figuring out ways in which to grow a business or revenue. And all the while I am multi-tasking, whether that is working through a problem with a customer or making sure the cleanliness of the hotel rooms are up to scratch.
I am able to pick up new skills and adapt to ever-changing circumstances quickly and easily, turning my hand to pretty much anything that is thrown at me.
